ABOUT 11 TEA LEAVES

11 Tea Leaves was founded on the belief that there's a perfect drink for everyone, everywhere. We have scoured the world to find the finest ingredients to make the freshest exclusive blends of tea. What truly sets us apart is our enthusiastic tea consultants.

What is a tea consultant?

Tea consultants are the connoisseurs of the tea industry. They have been specially trained to identify the blends that best fit the desires of each customer. They know which tea leaves, fruits, herbs, and spices perfectly blend together to address whatever your need is. We fondly refer to our tea consultants to be a cross between naturopaths and stylists.

Where did we come from?

11 Tea Leaves owners Ashley Clark and Aron Hunbte were inspired to plant their roots in Seattle after traveling the world and experiencing nothing quite like the Pacific Northwest. Ashley was born and raised in rural Eastern Oregon, while Aron spent his childhood between Puget Sound and Eastern Washington.

During a walk through tea fields in Pradesh, India, they fell in love with the gentle techniques the farmers used to harvest the white tea leaves. Inside a lounge in Kanchanaburi, they fell in love with the cozy combination of teas and live music. Combining these ideas with an entrepreneurial spirit, 11 Tea Leaves was born.

Why 11?

The number 11 holds a special meaning in our hearts. 11 is an "angel number", which encourages us to accept unique perspectives and philosophies in order to instigate a new consciousness. 11 acts as a spiritual signal for us to pay special attention to our thoughts and ideas.

Seeing 11's in everyday life is a lucky symbol! It encourages us to use positive affirmations to manifest our desires.
